9 May, 2016

We are very pleased to announce that ISO Quality Services’ Operations Director, Jennifer Appleton, has been invited to join the board at the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

Jennifer was chosen, along with 4 other new board members, following an extensive search for knowledgeable business leaders who have shown a commitment to Worcestershire.

The new members join 16 other representatives from numerous business sectors and organisations.

The Worcestershire LEP Business Board forms a partnership between local business, local government and local education networks, to unite these sector towards one shared purpose.

This shared purpose is designed to help develop Worcestershire as the ideal place “to work, invest and do business”.

Currently the Worcestershire LEP is working towards the creation of more jobs in the county, the delivery of new homes, as well as ensuring economic growth.

The Worcestershire LEP board ensures that the voices of business owners are heard and key business interests are addressed and brought forward.

ISO Quality Services’ Jennifer will be volunteering time alongside her day to day duties, representing the WLEP at board meetings and other events.

Her role on the board will be to advise others on local business matters and contribute her business knowledge and expertise.

On being announced as a new member, Jennifer was excited at the prospect of making a significant contribution to developing Worcestershire. “As the Director of a Small Business that operates in the Worcestershire area, I am pleased to be given opportunity to make the voice of small businesses, like ours, be heard.”
