ISO Quality Services join the Business Growth Campaign

9 Feb, 2016

In January we joined forces with various businesses in Worcester, partnering with the 2016 Business Growth Campaign headed by Worcester-based Arrivista.

We were delighted to be asked to join the Business Growth Campaign, a local enterprise which aims to help smaller businesses with access to business coaching, training and possible funding to combat periods of economic difficulty and promote development.

The partnership hopes to build skills, protect jobs and ensure profitability. Its key aim is to unite organisations and drive support to help protect up to 50 local SMEs and look ensure the creation of 300 jobs over a five-year period.

A challenging economic environment can really disrupt small businesses and by partnering with this initiative we hope we can help to support companies in our region, to help encourage growth and continued success.

The initiative is being supported by Lloyds Bank, Worcester Warriors and Worcester MP, Robin Walker. All involved aim to provide specialist assistance to build our local economy and business network.

Worcester MP, Robin Walker said, “I am glad to see local businesses, the rugby club that I support and banks working together to provide business growth support. In order to meet our national productivity challenge and complete the drive towards full employment we need to help small businesses to grow and it is exciting to see this initiative to do exactly that here in Worcester.”

On joining the partnership, ISO Quality Services’ Operations Director, Jennifer Appleton, commented that, “Having benefited from numerous business growth initiatives ourselves over the last 2-3 years we understand how important it is for SME businesses to have access to this information. As a business we promote the use of good processes and procedures to run efficiently and effectively and we feel that being part of this campaign will help us support other like-minded organisations with their processes.”

The campaign will be launched at a big event on Friday 4th March, held at Sixways Stadium in Worcester from 10am – 2pm, featuring speakers from local leading businesses.
