A Positive End to a Challenging Year

After a difficult year, we were pleased to be able to carry out our annual Bingo Box campaign, a challenge we welcome!
We can all agree that 2020 has not been what any of us expected it to be, but amongst all of this, at least one good thing did come out of this year. We were delighted to see that so many businesses were interested in participating in our Christmas campaign this year, an initiative dedicated to providing the Worcester Food Bank and other local food banks with supplies during their busiest time of year.
Our usual method of businesses filling their own boxes with food and essentials and bringing them to our offices for a photo shoot was not going to be Covid safe. We adapted the challenge so that companies could choose whether they wanted to take their box to their local food bank or make a donation to us so that we could go shopping on their behalf.
Boxes were filled, donations were made, and prizes were won! Business Solutions Midlands won the prize for ‘First Donation Made’, Paycare for ‘First Box Completed’ and Worcester Web Studio for ‘Best Decorated Box’!
Despite businesses having their own challenges to deal with, the results from this campaign were amazing! In total, 21 companies participated, £770 was donated, and at approximately £25 per box, this amounts to nearly 31 boxes of food and supplies, along with the physical boxes that were taken to the food bank… This brings our total Bingo Boxes donated to an astonishing 50!
