Jennifer and Natalie both recognised at Wonderful Worcestershire Women Awards

3 May, 2016

Congratulations to Operations Director, Jennifer Appleton and Client Services Advisor Natalie Allison for both coming runners up in their respective categories at Friday’s Wonderful Worcestershire Women Awards.

Operations Director Jennifer was awarded 3rd place in the category Director/Partner of the Year, which is a wonderful achievement looking at the exemplary women in the category.

This recognition comes after great start to the year, which has already seen Jennifer invited to join the Worcestershire Local Education Partnership (WLEP).

She is also training hard for Strictly Worcestershire 3 which is now just around the corner. The event will be held on the 26th May at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich.

19-year-old Client Services Advisor, Natalie was 2nd in her category which looked at recognising the achievements of Young Women in Business.

After joining the company as an Apprentice at the age of 16, the award shows how far Natalie has come in such a short space of time and at such a young age.

The Wonderful Worcestershire Awards celebrated the achievements of women all across Worcestershire including charity work, professional development and supporting local organisations and the community. 127 women were nominated for an award and 38 were invited back as finalists, in 7 categories.

The awards were held at the Worcestershire County Cricket Club on Friday 29th April, where all the finalists and their guests were treated to afternoon tea and various entertainment, including inspiring talks from local entrepreneurs, Cleo Lacey and Deborah Leary.

Operations Director Jennifer Appleton commented,

“We would like to offer our congratulations to everyone who was nominated, all the finalists and the winners, who highlight the outstanding work of Worcestershire women. A special mention to Suzanne Oldnall from Parkinson Wright who was awarded the overall award for Worcestershire Woman of the Year 2016. I am very pleased to have been recognised alongside all of these wonderful and inspiring women.”

In addition, our thanks to event organisers, Julia Williams and Sarah Mayo-Evans, who have created a fantastic platform for honouring and celebrating local business women, as well as all the event sponsors.
