BACKGROUND

In my previous life I was a Litigation Solicitor in a Worcestershire based firm of solicitors, specialising in commercial disputes particularly debt recovery.  Latterly during my time with that firm, I took on a business development and marketing role dealing with the strategic and practical aspects of marketing professional services.  This role involved a lot of contact with businesses of all shapes and sizes, across a number of different sectors and helped me develop an understanding of the issues that SMEs face within their organisations.

ROLE

I joined ISO Quality Services in June 2017 as Marketing and Strategic Alliance Manager and after a break for maternity leave returned in January 2019 as Business Development Manager.

My role involves:

  • Developing relationships with existing and prospect customers
  • Building up relationships with other businesses with whom we have a common interest and ethos;
  • Attending exhibitions and networking events to increase awareness of the benefits of ISO certifications;

Having an understanding of businesses issues, I am keen to promote how streamlining processes with a certification can alleviate many of the troublesome issues faced by SMEs.

PERSONAL

Outside of work, I am a mother to a 7 year old and a 3 year old, which keeps me pretty busy. If I do get any spare time I enjoy trying to keep fit, cooking (especially baking) and reading.
