ISO QSL Receives Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Corporate Partnership Award

We are delighted to share that ISO QSL has been honoured with the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Corporate Partnership Award at their Saving Lives Charity Ball.

The evening was particularly special as it marked Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s 35th anniversary, bringing together the people who make this vital lifesaving service possible. From the dedicated aircrew and operational teams to fundraisers, volunteers and corporate partners, it was a wonderful celebration of the individuals whose commitment has helped save countless lives across the Midlands over the past 35 years.

Debbie Farr, HR & Facilities Director here at ISO QSL and a Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Business Ambassador, attended the event along with Jennifer Appleton, Managing Director and they described it as “a truly wonderful and unforgettable evening“. They explained that it was a privilege to celebrate alongside the charity’s many supporters and recognise the impact their lifesaving work continues to have across the region.

Receiving the award was a proud moment for everyone at ISO QSL. Debbie said that being named Corporate Partnership of the Year came as “a complete surprise and an absolute honour“. ISO QSL have been supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity for more than 20 years, with this kind of service holding a very special place in the hearts of the Appleton family after being there when they needed help during one of life’s most challenging moments.

For Jennifer, supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity reflects a wider responsibility that businesses have to give back. She explained that when you run a business, there is “a certain commitment to give something back to the community“, a value that continues to shape ISO QSL’s approach to charitable giving and community engagement.

Over the years, we have been committed to raising both awareness and vital funds for the charity through our Annual Golf Day and Love Local Business Conference. Together, these annual events have raised thousands of pounds to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s lifesaving work. This year, we are adding another challenge to the mix, with some brave members of the QSL team preparing to take on the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Firewalk Challenge, continuing our efforts to support this remarkable cause.

While many people recognise the charity’s iconic red helicopters and are aware of the essential service they provide, what is often less well known is that Midlands Air Ambulance Charity receives no government or National Lottery funding for its daily missions. Every lifesaving mission is made possible through the generosity of supporters, fundraisers, volunteers and partner organisations.

That direct connection between fundraising and impact is one of the reasons our support for the charity remains so important. As Jennifer explained, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is “a charity that saves lives every single day“, and through our fundraising efforts we can help contribute to that lifesaving work year after year.

That is why this award means so much to us. It reflects the collective efforts of our team, clients, event attendees who help make our fundraising efforts possible. More importantly, it provides another opportunity to raise awareness of the charity and the vital work it carries out every single day.
