Ensuring Excellence

Choosing a non-accredited certification provider does not mean you’re compromising on the quality of your management system.  Instead, it can provide tailored support that helps you reap the benefits of your ISO certification.  Here is how we maintain a high standard when not regulated by Accreditation Bodies like UKAS and INAB.

What are the differences between Accredited and Non-Accredited providers?

One of the decisions you will make on your ISO journey is which route to take: accredited or non-accredited certification. For many businesses, non-accredited is enough and enables them to achieve the benefits of ISO certification without the expense of accredited certification.  It is crucial to understand that both certifications will provide you with the same management system, and the only difference is who certificates you and how:

  • Accredited certifiers: these certification bodies are assessed and accredited by national accreditation bodies such as UKAS for the UK and INAB for Ireland. They are only able to audit your management system and are unable to offer any support, make recommendations or identify areas for improvement.
  • Non-Accredited certifiers: certification bodies like ours are not assessed or accredited by any national accreditation body. As well as auditing, we can provide a one-stop shop for all your certification needs, supporting you with the implementation process, ongoing management and continual improvement of your management system.

Accreditation providers can only issue you with a pass or fail.  This is why consultants like us are often needed to support you through the accreditation process, helping you to pass your audit the first time.

We’ve chosen Non-Accreditation

We are genuinely passionate about making businesses better, and if we were a UKAS provider, we would not be able to offer our clients the support we pride ourselves upon. This is why we have actively chosen not to provide accredited certification. Instead, we can offer clients a simple, flexible and cost-effective approach to achieving ISO certification whilst building ongoing relationships with them, and this is part of the job we love the most.

Here are some of the ways we ensure excellence in an unregulated industry

Accountability

As we rely heavily on our reputation, we keep ourselves and our team accountable to high standards.  Our values form our commitment to you and ensure we deliver a level of service that is unsurpassed.  Read our Google Reviews to hear directly from our customers.

ISO Certification

We practice what we preach when it comes to excellence.  We are externally audited for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.  This ensures our services are aligned with the globally recognised best practices, even if it is not formally accredited.

Customer feedback

We actively seek customer feedback regularly.  Not only does this ensure our customers are happy with the service we provide but it also allows us to identify opportunities for improvement to ensure we continually exceed expectations.

Independent auditors

The expertise of our auditors is crucial to ensure we provide our clients with unparalleled support and high-quality service, which is why we have a vigorous onboarding process.  All our auditors are external consultants and experts in their field.  Some even audit for accredited certification bodies, meaning they are well accustomed to the high level of expectations of UKAS, as well as our own.

Auditor Rotation Policy

We operate an auditor rotation policy to ensure the advice you receive is unbiased.  This means you will have two or three assessors who we rotate annually to ensure they are not auditing their own work.  As well as helping to maintain independence, this will also give you a range of expertise, additional viewpoints, and advice.
