£6,800 raised for Midlands Air Ambulance during annual Golf Day

As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, we are proud to announce the success of our 15th annual Charity Golf Day, which raised an impressive £6,800 in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity – a lifesaving emergency service we’ve proudly supported for over two decades.

We have been hosting our charity golf day for fifteen years, and it has now become a highly anticipated fixture in our calendars. This year’s event welcomed over 60 enthusiastic golfers for a day of sport, networking, and fundraising, all under a cloudless sky and blazing summer sun. With temperatures soaring throughout the day, participants brought not just their A-game, but also plenty of good humour.

This has now become a staple event in ISO QSL’s calendars, drawing both loyal returning players and new faces eager to take part. The stunning Florida-style course provided the perfect setting for an 18-hole Stableford competition. There was also the added thrill of a hole-in-one challenge, kindly sponsored by Sutcliffe & Co Insurance, offering a £5,000 prize up for grabs.

The event teed off in fine style, with participants networking over some hot drinks and bacon rolls before the teams headed out on the course in the sunshine. Despite the heat, spirits were high, and everyone enjoyed the friendly competition.

After the final putts were made, everyone made their way for a well-deserved meal at The Fox Inn, where the day continued with a raffle and silent auction packed with a huge variety of prizes, including some loaves of bread from Peter Cooks Bread! The event wrapped up with prizes awarded to the top teams:

1st team: Phil Price, James Griffin, James Masters, Dave Chapman

2nd team: Susan Appleton, Peter Appleton, Jonathan Lee, Debbie Greenhouse

3rd team: Stew Murdoch, Dave Murdoch, Dan De Saulles, James Osborne

Over the past decade, our golf day has raised tens of thousands of pounds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. As a service that receives no government or National Lottery funding, every donation counts, and events like this are essential to helping them continue their lifesaving work.

Wiktoria Jaworska, corporate partnership executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: ‘We’re so pleased to work with ISO Quality Services and be a part of their annual golf day, it’s an event we always look forward to in the calendar, and we’re so grateful for all the fundraising they’ve done this year for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to celebrate their 25th anniversary and raise crucial funds for our lifesaving services.’

Peter Appleton, chairman of ISO Quality Services commented: ‘Another great day of golf, lovely to see so many old faces returning year after year and also new ones supporting the Midlands Air Ambulance charity.

It is personal to our family, so to see the support we are given strives us to make it memorable day out for all who support us. Our team work all year planning to ensure it goes without a hitch so that our sponsors and golfers can only look back with a smile.

Thank you everybody who support us each year and look forward to next June 16th, 2026, I have already filled in the good weather!’

We are also proud to have our clients and neighbours, Spin UK Ltd who have also just celebrated their 25th anniversary, as the headline sponsor for this year’s event. Their generous support played a significant role in the day’s success.

A sincere thank you goes out to everyone who attended, took part, or contributed in any way, from those who teed off in the heat, to those who kindly sponsored a hole, donated raffle prizes or placed bid in the silent auction. Your support has made a meaningful difference, and we look forward to welcoming you back next year as we continue to raise money for Midlands Air Ambulance.
