ISO QSL Golf Day Raises £4,500

22 Jun, 2023

We are pleased to announce our recent charity golf day raised £4,500 in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, nearly doubling last year’s achievement.

Our annual golf day returned for it’s 8th year and this year it proved more popular than ever, attracting more than 60 golfers.

The event was held at Bransford Golf Club, a stunning Florida-style golf course that offers a challenge to all levels of golfers. The day started well with networking over bacon butties bathed in glorious sunshine. Golfers then slapped on plenty of suncream and headed onto the course for an 18-hole Stableford team competition.

Afterwards, the golfers enjoyed a curry buffet at The Fox Inn where a raffle was held, and prizes were given to the winning teams:

1st Place: Nick Bracey, Chris Collins, Jack Davis, Ben Davis

2nd Place: Chris Lown, Steve Knott, Jamie Woods, Ger Harris

3rd Place: Phil Price, James Masters, Jordan Lockyer, Alex Rodgers

Wiktoria Jaworska, corporate partnership executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We started working with ISO Quality back in 2016, since then they have supported our lifesaving service with a number of fundraising activities, including the annual Golf Day. We are especially grateful to everyone who attended the day and helped to raise £4,500, which will help fund future missions, giving patients the best chance of survival and good recovery.”

Jennifer Appleton, MD of ISO QSL commented: “Midlands Air Ambulance is a charity close to the hearts of the Directors here at ISO.  The Golf Day is the highlight of our fundraising calendar for them and we were delighted that this year was so successful.  We are already looking forward to next year!”
