Before working with ISO Quality Services, Matt served in the British Army, where he served globally in diverse environments. During his service, he gained various skills such as excellent people management and communication skills, the ability to work under extreme pressure and a high attention to detail.

Matt joined the team at ISO Quality Services in early 2022 and supports clients with the following management systems:
- ISO 9001 Quality Management
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management
- ISO 27001 Information Security Management
- ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management
- ISO 22301 Business Continuity
Matt has experience implementing and auditing these standards in various businesses but has extensive knowledge of mechanical, maintenance and telecommunication engineering, which he gained from his previous roles.
Background
Matt’s career started in the British Army, serving eight years in various roles such as Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical and Maintenance Engineering, Management of People, Security Management (physical and electronic), Vehicle Crew Commander and instructor roles.
After leaving the forces, Matt moved into the role of Mechanical Service Engineer, which led on to Mechanical Engineer for a global mining manufacturing company, lasting two years. In 2021, he gained ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 Lead Auditors Certification.
Life Outside of ISO QSL
Matt’s spare time is spent with family and close friends, keeping an active lifestyle, and maintaining a healthy well-being.
