Background
John’s corporate work experience with M&S, JD Williams and Amazon has provided him with extensive knowledge in detail management, negotiations, tender documents, budget control ranging from £5-£76+ million, project management, analysis of metrics and statistics, continuous improvement, coaching and people development.
John is customer-centric, focusing on detail, process management, bias for action and getting the job done. He is also an advocate for CPD, conformity, assessments, and standards. Â
In addition, John has over 10 years experience volunteering, having been a voluntary committee member for the West Wirral fund raising branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and most recently, working with local schools to support the next generation’s future.
Life Outside of ISO QSL
John has lived in the lovely Wirral for 28 years with his wife, four dogs, four cats, a rabbit, six fantail doves and marine fish (no partridge in a pear tree!).
John enjoys walks with the dogs on the beach, maintaining the garden to the high standards set by Mrs Hayes and spending time with his dad, who is 92 years young. He also enjoys Sci-Fi films, particularly Star Wars and enjoying a large G&T on a Friday evening.
