George Nyambuya is an accomplished Quality expert, with over 18 years of experience across various industries, including Engineering & Manufacturing, Construction, Food, Cleaning, NGO, Marine, and Mining.  Holding an Honours degree in Applied Chemistry and a Postgraduate Diploma majoring in Quality Management from the University of Applied Science in Saarland, Germany, George has honed his business leadership skills through a postgraduate certificate in Business Leadership from the Wits Business School in Johannesburg.

George joined the team at ISO Quality Services in early 2024 and specialises in the following ISO standards:

• ISO 9001 Quality Management
• ISO 14001 Environmental Management
• ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management

Employment History 

Throughout his career, George has demonstrated dedication, transparency, honesty, and diligence while working with numerous organisations. His commitment to excellence makes him a valuable asset to any company looking to implement, train, or audit quality management systems. In pursuit of further professional growth, George is currently working towards acquiring chartered practitioner status with the Chartered Quality Institute in the UK and is undertaking ISO 27001 training to expand his expertise.

His successful track record includes over 10 ISO implementation and certification projects, conducting more than 150 ISO-related audits, and training hundreds of delegates in various projects. Notably, George has trained and equipped over 300 Hygienists in ISO 22000/HACCP in a single project.

In addition to his professional pursuits, George gives back to the community by volunteering as a mentor for aspiring ISO Management System Experts through the online-based “SHE Mentorship programme with Nthabi.” He also actively contributes to the development of industry standards as a member of the South African Bureau of Standards and the Standard Association of Zimbabwe Technical Committee.

Personal

Outside of work, George enjoys writing and commenting on professional and social articles, reading, walking, and playing chess. With aspirations of becoming an accomplished author in the near future, he draws inspiration from the bible verse Daniel 6:3, which speaks to his own ability and potential for success: “Daniel soon proved himself more capable than all the other administrators and high officers. Because of Daniel’s great ability, the king made plans to place him over the entire empire.” The spirit of excellence powering one to success.
