Hunger doesn’t wait until Christmas – Join the Bingo Box challenge today
It might feel a little early to mention the ‘C’ word, but at Worcester Foodbank, the need for support doesn’t wait until December.
Over the past year alone, food banks in the Trussell Trust network distributed 2.9 million food parcels across the UK. That’s one parcel every 11 seconds! The demand stays consistently high and demand for the food bank is not easing.
Hunger is a deeply personal. Most of us know how irritable we feel if lunch is delayed by just a couple of hours. Now imagine living with that feeling all day, every day. It’s exhausting and debilitating, but sadly, it’s reality for too many people in our community.
The Trussell Trust has warned that the situation is now more critical than ever, with more families forced into poverty and left with no choice but to turn to food banks for help.
But together, we can make a difference.
The Christmas Bingo Box Challenge
We are thrilled to announce the return of our much-loved Christmas Bingo Box Challenge for the eighth year running! A simple, fun, and impactful way for individuals, families, and businesses to come together, collecting essential items that Worcester Foodbank urgently needs in the run-up to Christmas.
Thanks to people’s generosity over the years, we’ve been able to donate hundreds of kilograms of food and vital funds to support local Worcester people. And this year, we’re doing it all over again!
Last year alone, 18 Worcestershire businesses took part, donating 25 full Bingo Boxes, alongside £590 in cash contributions to help Worcester Foodbank purchase fresh produce and other essentials as and when it’s needed.

- Download your bingo sheets here.
- Complete one or both bingo sheets.
- Alternatively you can make a cash donation (just let us know and we’ll send you the details).
- Deliver your completed Bingo Box to ISO QSL’s headquarters in St. John’s, Worcester. If preferred, you can deliver your donation directly to your local foodbank. Be sure to snap a photo of your donation!
- The deadline is Friday, 28th November.
