Your chance to recognise the Good Eggs in your business

Yes, it’s that time of year again – the launch of our much-loved Good Egg Awards. This is your chance to acknowledge all the hard work of your colleagues/clients by nominating them for one of five categories.

Data shows that 79% of people who quit their jobs cite ‘lack of appreciation’ as one of their reasons for leaving. Let that sink in. Statistics also show that employees who feel appreciated are 5 times more likely to stay at their organisation. What does this tell you? We need to appreciate people that we work with more!

People appreciate feeling valued at work because recognition fosters motivation, job satisfaction, and loyalty to the company.

First launched in 2018 the Good Egg Awards quickly became a highly anticipated annual campaign. No wonder why! Everyone loves feeling appreciated.

Environmental Egg

  • Swaps single-use plastic to a reusable cup for all those take out drinks
  • Prefers supporting sustainable businesses rather than big sharks

Passion Egg

Someone who:

  • Is full of passion for work and life
  • Is an unstoppable force of energy, tackling every task with a can-do attitude
  • Is enthusiastic and full of ideas
  • Constantly goes above and beyond
  • Gives it their all, no matter if it’s work or life

Quality Egg

Someone who:

  • Consistently strives for the highest standards in everything they do
  • Has a sharp eye for accuracy and detail
  • Always ensures that industry standards, policies and best practices are followed
  • Genuinely cares about the output of their effort
  • Is the backbone of their company

Support Egg

Someone who:

  • Is your go-to person when you are having a rough day
  • Promotes a positive and healthy work environment
  • Is the teams built-in cheerleader, making sure everyone feels valued and motivated
  • Fosters teamwork
  • Shares their knowledge and helps colleagues grow
  • Remains calm and patient, even in stressful

Delivery Egg

Someone who:

  • Consistently delivers results, even when faced with tight deadlines
  • Takes pride in their work, ensuring it’s met to the highest standards
  • Has superb time management skills
  • Tackles challenges head on, finding practical solutions
  • Can easily adapt to changes or challenges

Nominating someone couldn’t be easier! Just click a button below to access the Typeform, fill it in, and you’re all set. It only takes a couple of minutes, but your nomination will truly brighten someone’s day, making them feel valued and appreciated.

They’ll receive a personalised certificate with your kind words and have the chance to win a delicious Easter chocolate hamper! But that’s not all, for every nomination we receive, we’ll donate an Easter Egg to Worcester Foodbank, helping to spread a little extra joy this Easter.

Last year, we donated over 160 chocolate eggs, let’s see if we can beat that this year!

Nominations close at 12pm on Tuesday 1st April. Winners will be announced in our Awards Ceremony on Thursday 3rd April at 2pm where nominees and nominators will be invited to join us in celebrating the Good Eggs.
