This week, at an opening event at Browns at the Quay in Worcester, our Operations Director, Jennifer Appleton and our New Business Development Executive, Natalie Allison were short-listed for two awards at the inaugural Wonderful Worcestershire Women’s Awards.

Operations Director Jennifer has been nominated in the category Director or Partner of the Year and Natalie stands to be awarded Young Business Woman of the Year.

The two are joined in their categories by lots of motivational women, showcasing their talent and achievements. Overall, 70 women have been selected for a public vote, which opened on the 13th January.

The awards recognise the achievements of business woman throughout Worcestershire, and look to promote their work within the community.

The Wonderful Worcestershire Women Awards were founded and are headed by Sarah Mayo-Evans, Director at Peach Recruitment and Julia Williams, Director at Premier Places.

Sarah Mayo-Evans, Director at Peach Recruitment said, ‘The Wonderful Worcestershire Women Awards set out to recognise and reward females for their contribution to the county; be it running a successful business, working tirelessly for others or being an inspiration through significant personal or business achievement.’

Julia Williams, Director at Premier Places said, ‘This initiative represents the inspirational women of Worcestershire who balance and juggle their lives relentlessly, supporting their communities and playing such a pivotal role in developing our local economy.’

The five nominees with the most votes in each category will make it through to the final round, where the winners will be chosen by a judging panel. The awards will take place at the Worcestershire County Cricket Club on the 29th April.

Please show your support for Jennifer and Natalie. You can read more about each of their applications and vote for them on the Wonderful Worcestershire Women Awards website from the 13th January.
