Introducing…

Leadership Trust

The Leadership Trust develop high performance cultures through improvements to individual and team performance. We achieve this by enabling understanding of how adjustments to behaviours can release the full potential of the whole team.

Honed and refreshed over the decades, our unique philosophy was born 40 years ago when David Gilbert-Smith a former Special Air Service (SAS) Officer successfully blended the leadership lessons learnt by Military Special Forces personnel in testing conditions with an understanding of behavioural psychology and organisational development in civilian and commercial settings.

The Leadership Trust today is at the forefront of executive leadership development, serving clients all over the globe in myriad markets, from pharmaceuticals, retail, construction, sport, financial services to manufacturing.

Our high impact development programmes have been designed for CEOs, directors, managers and all others with existing or indeed emerging leadership responsibility.

Founded in 1975 the Leadership Trust are celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a series of events and initiatives aimed at their existing 50,000 alumni as well as new relationships.

Fast Facts:

Based in Ross on Wye but working with a national and an international client base that covers all sectors and industries, the Leadership Trust believes that there is a direct relationship between the quality of leadership and company success. Their own company success is achieved as a result of a number of factors including:

Rob Noble CEOPROFILE: Rob Noble CEO.

Rob joined the organisation after a period with Goldman Sachs in London running equity operations teams, having previously completed 18 years’ service in the British Army.  He gained significant operational experience leading tours of duty in Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan.  Alongside operational leadership, Rob also specialised in strategic planning and training whilst in the Army.

Rob has a strong belief that leadership should be seen at all levels of an organisation, and unlocking hidden potential is key.  He has worked in teams mixed by age, nationality, gender and sector of expertise.  He knows that core to a successful team is recognising and bringing together the right capabilities and personal attributes; and pivotal to delivering any vision and strategy is that they are expressed clearly, understood and advocated.
