Promoting your ISO Standard – How can you market your Management System?

6 Jul, 2017

You’ve had your presentation and are now officially certified. But how can you tell people about your recent success?

Marketing your standard correctly is as important as gaining it in the first place, without letting your clients know about the standard you won’t be making the most out of the system you worked hard for. Various methods can be used to promote your standard so that potential clients can see you as a supplier of choice.

Logos

Did you know that when you are certified, you can promote this with an ISO logo? This is relevant to your standard and used to show people that you follow the specific management system. Once you have had your presentation, our marketing team will be in touch with you with details about the logo.

These can be featured on a variety of materials, from your website to brochures and other marketing literature. Another useful place to feature them is in your email signature, as whoever you email is likely to see it!

When including the logo on your website, be sure to link it to the relevant page on our website so as to inform your potential clients of what the certification stands for and its importance. Doing this will also help to promote your website through search engines. To do this forward the logo and the attached code to your website manager/website design company. Feel free to put them in touch with us should they require assistance/further information.

Social Media

When it comes to changes and developments to the ISO standards, social media is a powerful tool to use to keep up to date. By following the relevant bodies to your standard you can keep up to date with any changes.

If you want to keep up to date with useful advice for your standard, you can follow ISO Quality Services on Twitter at @ISOQSL and LinkedIn at ISO Quality Services Ltd.

Articles

Writing articles about your successes are always an effective way to communicate with your current customer base as well as your prospect clients. By writing an article about your recent implementation of an ISO standard, you will catch the interest of your current clients as well as using it to let your target audience know that you are now certified.

You can also have a client case study written for you by ISO Quality Services. All you will need to do is fill out a question set provided by us, then our Marketing Department will complete a write up and send it through to you for approval. This will then be featured on our website and social media, and your company will be free to do the same.

If you currently have ISO Certification with us, and would like us to send your logos to you, please contact the Marketing Department on marketing@isoqsltd.com or give us a call on 01905 670393.
