It’s all about PINK!

30 Oct, 2013

Breast Cancer Awareness month is upon us and we have all been doing our bit to raise money for the cause. The team from ISO Quality Services Limited joined the hundreds of thousands of people who take part in ‘wear it pink’ and had a very Pink day on Friday 25th October 2013, as we all dived into our wardrobes to find the pinkest pieces of clothing we could find. There were socks, scarves, leg warmers and hair bands all pinking it up in the offices, to raise money for this wonderful cause.

‘Wear it pink’ is Britain’s biggest pinkest fund-raising day and last year £2.1 million was raised by the ‘wear it pink’ supporters and all the money funds Breast Cancer Campaign’s world class research across the UK and Ireland to save the thousands of women fighting breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Campaign currently funds around 108 research projects, worth more than £18 million in 35 locations across the UK and Ireland.

By doing our bit we can all help the researchers finally find a cure for this disease. Everybody knows somebody who has unfortunately lost their battle to cancer, but by doing anything and everything we can to fund raise, together we will beat cancer!
