Our View: Eigen Limited

Eigen was formed in 2007 after a team of engineers successfully delivered a series of complex real time data integration projects for an oil & gas major in the Caspian Sea.  Having built a unique cross-disciplinary team with experience in Automation, IT, cyber security, telecoms, and engineering, they knew it was the key to their success and so Eigen was formed.

Today, they’re a forward-thinking engineering problem solver using digital technology and systems integrator, delivering intelligent Operations and Digitalisation for the Oil and Gas industry, covering production, and drilling. 

In 2018, Eigen Limited made the decision to implement ISO 9001, defining their commitment to operate to the highest possible standard and three years later, added ISO 27001 too, helping to control the risks to their systems, technology and data, including also their customer’s digital assets.

Compliance with ISO 27001 was relatively straight forward, as the entire information security policy and practice had been revamped internally by Eigen in early 2020.

The overall objective of preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of information, is of paramount importance to them and was evident throughout the implementation stage. The organisation has embraced any recommendations that have been made, which has led to an outstanding level of compliance at such an early stage. The measures that have been implemented will help ensure that data and information that passes through or by the organisation, is protected the best it can be. Well done to everyone involved”.
