Summary

Steve started his own business in 2011 and he joined the team at ISO QSL in 2014. Steve is an IRCA qualified management system lead auditor and he specialises in supporting businesses to implement and maintain their management systems, including the following international standards: –

ISO 9001 Quality Management; ISO 14001 Environmental; ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety; ISO 27001 Information Security and BS EN 15713 Secure Destruction of Confidential Materials.

He also assists businesses along their journey of making their operations much more efficient, thus, enabling them to grow at a faster rate and improve their overall profit and service levels.

Employment History

Originally, a time-served apprentice and qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Steve went on to study and gain several other qualifications, including, BA Hons in Business & Finance, Chartered Quality Institute qualifications and an Adult Teaching qualification. Steve is based in the North West region of Greater Manchester and his operations cover the United Kingdom and Overseas.

Prior to 2011, Steve held several Senior Management positions in both small and large businesses, and he has worked in a wide variety of regulated industries, including, Fire Protection; Industrial Fixings & Power Tools; Air Filtration; Nuclear Structures, Medical Devices and Precision Engineering

Using the experience he gained from these roles, Steve most recently worked as a Quality/Manufacturing Specialist for three separate businesses including a large privately owned vehicle manufacturer. During this role, he reviewed all business operations and reported findings to the senior management group, engaged with all functional managers to develop key objectives and efficiency opportunities and assisted with the documentation and implementation of procedures and process flow diagrams, gaining ISO 9001 and Conformity of Production.

In addition, Steve implemented ISO 9001 within a medium sized precision engineering business and improved quality management systems for a local high volume electronics components site.
