Before becoming an associate at ISO Quality Services, Rick spent over 30 years in the Police Service and was at a supervisory level for over 23 years. During this time, he fulfilled a variety of different roles and gained some key skills including:

Rick has worked with a variety of businesses and other organisations across the UK and Europe. He has also worked with many international companies around the world, including in Africa, US, Central and South America.

Employment History

Rick spent 13 years with Sussex Police, followed by 17 years with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). During this time, he spent over four years seconded to the MPS charity, the Safer London Foundation, as Operations Manager.

Whilst with Sussex Police, Rick gained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Sector Studies from Portsmouth University. Before retiring from the MPS he was with the Territorial Policing Performance Unit where he was responsible for reviewing the performance of the six South-East London boroughs.

He was a Vice-Chair of a School Governing Body for nine years and his role there included Chair of Curriculum Committee, with responsibility for a variety of school activities including ‘Investors in People’.
