Before joining ISO Quality Services back in 2016 I obtained my BSc and later, MSc in Occupational Psychology, where my passion lies. My research interests include the areas of Personnel Assessments and Selection, Employee Engagement and Team Performance. Thus, my postgraduate project explored the impact of personality on team performance through consciously and subconsciously triggered goals. While obtaining my degree, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to be involved in a number of academic projects, focusing on students’ employability and establishing key transferable knowledge and skills which increase students competitiveness in labour market.
I have been involved in various aspects of the business since 2016, including the delivery of excellent customer service and the development of strategies for growing our business internationally, before finding my niche in the role of an Operations Assistant. I work closely with Debbie Farr on our Recruitment and Retention, Employee development and Engagement Strategies. I highly appreciate the impact of procedures and processes which the ISO / BS management systems implement into business operations and therefore, my responsibilities also involve supporting the management team in developing and implementing strategies for optimisation of our internal processes.
When I can, I enjoy spending time with family and spoiling my nephew, which usually involves frequent travelling to Spain and Bulgaria. As the girls in the team often say when they see me walking in with my mug in hand, I love coffee more than life itself, and in my spare time I enjoy learning more about coffee roasts as well as drinking wine & dancing (at times simultaneously).
