BACKGROUND

I spent 26 years in the hazardous waste industry, specifically oil refining, and the last sixteen as a Group HSEQ Manager. I am a qualified Lead Auditor in ISO9001:2015, 14001:2015 and BS OHSAS 18001 and have years of experience in designing and implementing safety, environmental and quality management systems and auditing them.

I have also been a WAMITAB approved Assessor since 1998 and have taken many candidates through waste management awards up to level 4 over the years.

I left full time employment, by choice, in 2015 and set up my own HSEQ Consultancy company. It was then that I was introduced to QSL Ltd and I am pleased to be working for them as a Lead Auditor.

PERSONAL

I am married to Linda whom I’ve known all my life and have three grown up offspring. We live on a farm on the border of Worcestershire and Shropshire, where my children have set up their own enterprises – following their old man in self-employment!
