I became employed within the finance/accounting sector just over three years ago after a long career in the healthcare field.

I started my finance career as a Credit Controller for a small family business in Stourport, learning the basics before progressing to a local company, learning the sales ledger and expanding on my knowledge of credit control.

My Role

Within my role, I am undertaking the position of a Finance Assistant alongside studying for my AAT in Accounting.

My focus is on the sales ledger side of the business, maintenance of credit control, general finance tasks and maintaining good relationships with our clients.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop and enhance current skills as well as learning new ones to develop my career further.


I enjoy looking after myself and learning ways to help my self-development and productivity.  I have started to read more self-development books which should help enhance my work-life balance, improve time management and enhance overall learning.  I also enjoy running, the gym and keeping myself healthy.

When I do sit down, there’s nothing better than a good book, a warm blanket and some down time!
