ISO Quality Services and the Chamber of Commerce

ISO Quality Services Ltd attended the Manufactured in the Midlands Event held at the Chateau Impney Hotel, Drotwich on Thursday 21st June 2012. We had a speakers spot at the event and really enjoyed being able to engage with the audience.

The next Maximise you Membership event we are due to speak at is being held at the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce on Thursday 6th September 2012, why not come along?

Did you know?

A customer is far more likely to contact a company if it uses an ISO 9001:2008 logo for the marketing of its products and services as it is show to instil greater levels of trust and confidence. Why not implement the ISO 9001:2008 to see an expansion in your current customer base.

Technical vs. Simple

We at ISO Quality Services Ltd want to continue to remove the stigma associated to ISO/BS terminology. Please see below some explanations of some commonly misunderstood terms.

A process is a series of actions completed to achieve a desired outcome, with a focus on satisfying the customer.
A procedure is a set way of doing something and is driven by the completion of a task with a focus on satisfying the rules.

Managers Beware

The HSE report a 32% increase in prosecutions against individuals since 2008, the statistics highlight that Managers need to be aware of their duty to employees under Health and Safety Legislation. By implementing the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety Management System into your company you can ensure that hazard identification and risk assessments are taking place therefore ensuring a safe working environment for you and your employees. For more details on how to become certified please read more here.
