We started the month with the Maximise your Membership event we sponsor at the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. We thoroughly enjoyed the event and gathered some great contacts. We have recently confirmed that we will be continuing to support the chamber at its events for the next 12 months – click here look out for our photo in the April addition of the Chamber Link magazine.

Minimum Wage to remain frozen for Under 21’s

In an attempt to lessen the obstacles for job creation the Government have confirmed that the minimum wage for 16-17 year olds will remain at £3.68 per hour and for 18-20 year olds at £4.98 per hour for 2012/2013. For those 21 and over however the rate of pay will increase from 1st October 2012 to £6.19 an hour!

Congratulations to AFJ Ltd

Congratulations to AFJ Ltd who recently obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Standard. AFJ Ltd is a provider of non-emergency patient transport to NHS Trusts, private and corporate sector passenger travel, training in passenger and patient services, fleet maintenance and vehicle conversion services.

Stewart Clague Services Ltd obtains new standard

Existing ISO Quality Services client Stewart Clague Services Ltd (who provide a wide range of building and facilities services), already hold both the ISO 9001:2008 Quality and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Certificates. This month they have become certified in the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety Management standard their third ISO/BS standard with ISO Quality Services Ltd, which is a huge achievement  so congratulations to all their team!

Vigilant Security (SW) Ltd have recently obtained their ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certificate. Vigilant Security (SW) Limited provides mobile patrols, alarm response, door and static/site security and a dog patrol service.
