ISO Quality Services Ltd and Birmingham Chamber of Commerce

ISO Quality Services Ltd attended the “Maximise your Membership” event which was held by the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce on Thursday 9th February, we found the event extremely successful acquiring some promising leads.

We also took part in the NISP Quick Wins Workshop which is a new event to for us. The event was found to be very useful and informative. Bill to Stop Companies Going into Administration to Avoid Punishment

A Labour MP has put forward a Bill to prevent companies going into administration to escape Health and Safety fines following death or serious injury in the workplace. The Bill is to give Health and Safety Inspectors the power to apply for a Court Order to freeze assets of a company under investigation following an incident. The Bill has been prompted following a death of a worker struck by a six tonne steel column. The crane company involved went into administration a few months before the trial and was only fined £4,500 due to its finances. The company was then sold and continued trading using the same equipment.*
