‘Health and Safety can only work if you understand the concept’
4 Sep, 2013
Risk assessments are critical to protect your business and the welfare of your employees. We understand that the concept of ‘Risk Assessments’ can often strike fear amongst business owners and the employees within that business that are responsible for carrying them out.
There is a skill to managing risk assessments and that is to firstly prioritise the risks and then focus on the areas where the consequences of hazards are most severe.
Do you have questions surrounding the below?
- Concepts of risk and hazard.
- Concepts of a safe work environment.
- Hazard identification and differentiation between hazard and risk.
- Principles of risk control/s – workplace precautions.
- Safety law and risk assessment legislation.
- Risk assessment, risk analysis and risk management.
We are holding a ‘half day’ Risk Assessment Training Course on Tuesday 5th November 2013 at our Head Office in Worcester that will assist you in answering the above questions.
To attend this course you do not need to be looking at the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety standard or even be currently certified.
