Strenuus Ltd – ISO Quality Services Ltd Case Study
Strenuus are a London based company that have rapidly built up an enviable reputation since their formation in February this year.

Breaking into a competitive market
As with majority of industries, the one in which Strenuus operates is highly competitive and Managing Director, James (Jim) Laird pinpointed early on, the difference that achieving ISO Certification can have.
When asked as to why Strenuus sought to achieve the ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard, Jim commented,
“As a start-up, we needed an effective system for quality management”.
One of the many benefits of achieving the ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard is that it is awarded by a third party.
A lot of businesses claim to have quality at the heart of everything they do but achieving the ISO 9001 says that your processes and procedures have been audited by an independent body while being found to be exemplary.
An industry norm
To achieve the ISO 9001 is a great achievement in itself but Jim and the team at Strenuus have also achieved the ISO 27001 Information Security Management Standard.
This fast growing standard is becoming incredibly important in a world where data breaches seem to be in the news every day.
Strenuus had very specific reasons for implementing the ISO 27001 Standard,
“Confidentiality is of utmost importance to our target market and achieving this standard demonstrates that we can be depended upon”.
As with all ISO Standards, The ISO 27001 Information Security Management Standard is internationally recognised and so whether a company has a domestic or international focus, the ISO 27001 has great value.
Working together
Implementing these highly regarded standards is no mean feat as they require a complete ‘buy-in’ by the whole organisation but our high level of personalised support is something that we take great pride in.
Jim in particular commented that he felt “Well supported” throughout the implementation process and that it was “Very straightforward”.
